THINGS TO DO

WILDLIFE

“Nothing but breathing the air of Africa, and actually walking through it, can communicate the indescribable sensations.”
– William Burchell (English explorer)

Get closer to wildlife than in any national park in Tanzania. Get up close to elephant, follow lions across the savannah, search for greater kudu and even African wild dog.

STAY HERE

“I never knew of a morning in Africa when I woke up that I was not happy.”
– Ernest Hemingway

Stay in one of our small, unique camps, all jointly-run by tourism companies and the local community. All Randilen hosts are committed to conservation, responsible tourism and respecting the long term vision of Randilen Wildlife Management Area.

CAMPING

“No special effect can ever come close to the power and impact of human imagination. A story, told or read around a campfire, will keep alive our time-honored traditions of oral history.”
Rick Steber

Come camping with friends and family, Randilen is just over an hour’s drive from Arusha and has some exceptional campsites and fun activities for all the family. Just a weekend away.
